A downloadable game

MORIBUNDERLAND is a turn-based RPG following the story of a man named Brendan as he explores a strange alternate world. Faced with the reality that he may already be dead, he is forced to either accept his fate, or rediscover his determination to live.

This game deals with themes of mental health, suicide, abuse, and the way trauma effects people. However, one of the goals of this game is to humanize those who struggle with mental illness through some humor, genuine bonding between characters, and a narrative that aims to celebrate the simple joy of being alive.

The game will be released on both PC and Mac platforms, with potential for a browser-based release as well as a Linux port in the future.

I just finished the demo, and I want more!!! This game is just so good! It somehow manages to tackle serious issues, like abuse and suicide, but without making the characters and situations feel fake, all the while telling an interesting story into which anyone could immerse themselves. I would LOVE to see how it ends!

I've been keeping things vague and quiet for now, but because your comment was so sweet and kind, I figured I should sneakily come in here and tell you -- I've started working on the game again! It'll be awhile until it's playable, as I'm reworking a lot of things, but everything you said you liked about the demo will still be there! :)

Thank you so much!!! I absolutely adored this game when I played it, so I'm so glad that you're working on it again. I was worried that it was never going to be finished, but I knew that you were working hard on other things, like "Grayscale", which I'm also really excited about, so I wasn't mad about it. But, really, thank you! I'm definitely going to check it out as soon as it's available.
